WWE Raw : Putting Reigns over

Putting Reigns over

After what seems like forever, they finally seem to have figured it out. Let Reigns get attacked from behind, let him take a beating, and the fans will be sympathetic.

He's been champ 3 times, hasn't he. So feuds with guys who fight really dirty seem like the answer. Not finding a cheap way to give him a belt.

Re: Putting Reigns over

What brought THAT up?

Annoying the world since 1960!

Re: Putting Reigns over

I noticed the same thing. I'm sure reigns will feud will Joe for awhile, while dealing with Braun .

Re: Putting Reigns over

You're a tranny.

Re: Putting Reigns over

You are the reason that IMDB is cancelling all its message boards. This one, all movies and all series.

Good job.

Re: Putting Reigns over

Ha! I wish! Clearly you've never been to the politics board or the soapbox. Take a little peekie and you'll understand. Until then, may all your Christmases be white.Ya MooseMuncher.

Re: Putting Reigns over

I was rather surprised to see the crowd booing Joe, I figured they would cheer him for beating on Reigns. Maybe it's because Joe is a more traditional heel, or because the casuals don't know who he is, or because he injured Rollins, I don't know.

Braun did get the "Thank you Strowman" chant though, so there were at least some smarks in the crowd.

Re: Putting Reigns over

I think it's simpler than that. When you hide under the ring, come out and wreck somebody, you the heel and Reigns is finally a face.

It was actually brilliant two ways. Fans who didn't know Joe know he's a heel notw and they finally put Reigns over

There are different ways to be a heel, and cheating, sneaking up on people and using foreign objects are tried and true.

And Strowman has done none of those things. He wins fairly, and his only complaint is he wants tougher competition.

But isn't that a short term solution? It was certainly far more beneficial to Joe's character to do the sneak attack, but the crowd will be back to booing Reigns next week.

Personally, I don't feel Reigns should be a sympathetic babyface (if it were up to me, he wouldn't be a babyface at all right now). He should basically be a bad ass who says nothing and simply kicks ass. The mistake the company made was giving him too much too soon, and trying to turn his character into a Rock/Cena with cheesy promos that he would mess up - the damage from that has had such a long term effect that the best solution would be to have Roman turn heel just to give his character an upheaval.
