I don't know why there are only a few posters on here who ever call pvd out. Everyone else just continues to let her get away with anything she posts without holding her to any accountability, and even join in to agree with her and kiss her butt. Yet they denigrate other posters who actually state facts and can back them up.

That was a regrettable incident. But what in bloody H#LL does that have to do with Republicans in general or ME in particular?? I never use that word. I have never called someone that word. I'd never think of doing it!
Why is it now the norm to blame Trump for the behavior of every single person in the country? Does NO ONE take personal responsibility anymore? Does personal responsibility go out the window when there is a Republican in office?
When Clinton was in office, were we supposed to say "The Democrats must be so happy", every time a married guy screwed around on his wife? Seriously?

I don't like that word either, and never use it or condone it. But this whole thread was posted to point the finger at Trump and Republicans for what happened in this situation, and I am questioning what they had to do with this. If someone is going to post an accusation, they should be able to back it up. Nothing in pvd's OP showed or proved or supported that this had anything to do with Trump or Republicans.

The Dairy Queen owner shouting the n-word at Deianeira Ford told her he could say whatever he wanted at his fast-food restaurant that any accusations and complaints she uttered would fall on deaf ears.
Ford was vindicated two days later, when her Facebook post about the incident provoked outrage so strong that the Dairy Queen in Zion, Ill., didnt open for business.
But her victory was tempered by something even more troubling that she heard at a protest: Although she was the most vocal victim of the owners racism, she was not the first.
On Wednesday, Ford had taken her two children to visit their grandmother and, because they were well-behaved, she stopped by the Dairy Queen on the way home. She ordered a $5 box, but part of the order was wrong, and another part was missing.
So she asked the owner to fix the order, and when he balked, she asked for a refund. Thats when things spiraled.
The owner, James Jim Crichton, returned her $5, but gave her a mouthful, according to Ford and the police in Zion, 50 miles north of Chicago.
He called me and my children n; he said I can go back to where I came from, Ford told The Washington Post.
He took out his flip phone and he said he would take a picture and put it on Facebook because he wants to show the world what kind of n he has to deal with. Then he shut the window and walked away.

But the worst came a few moments later, from the back seat, where her two children were sitting, Ford said.
My daughter is 3. Shes a little sponge; she repeats everything, said Ford, 21, who is biracial. She asked me: Mommy, we n?

Crying and shaking, Ford dialed 911.
An officer found her sitting in the parking lot in tears. She told him what happened, and he went to talk to Crichton, the DQ owner.
The officer later detailed what Crichton told him in a police report.
He said Crichton was angry.
He was shaking and pacing the floor.
But he did not deny what Ford had said:
Crichton boastfully told me he would be happy to go to jail over the issue and proudly admitted to calling Ford a n. He added that he is fed up with black people, and described an incident in which two of them were in his restaurant squirting ketchup all over the floor, according to the officers report.
During the course of my conversation with Crichton, he used the word n freely to describe black people, the officer continued.

As inept and ill-equipped as DJT is to be President and as despicable a person as I believe him to be, I actually don't think he would be "proud" of Crichton's behavior. Racists come in all political persuasions, but I am inclined to believe that there are more of them within the Republican party than elsewhere.
I don't expect nor ask that Trump speak to or "own" this incidence. Crichton and his illness of racism existed long before Trump got elected. It's not only impossible but irrelevant to ascertain how much influence Trump's rise to power has had on Crichton.
The take-away for me concerning this incidence is an awareness of how all of us of like-mind, heart, and intellect must always remain alert and firmly against injustice. It is heartening to see DQ's response and how Ford's community, mayor, and police chief rallied on her behalf.

I wish I were that forgiving of Trump as you, but the fact of the matter is that since he has started campaigning in June, 2015 - with no filter on his mouth and getting away with it - others have followed suit in the Republican party. And they are proud of it. So I think deep down he is honored that they are following his deplorable behavior - and making America 'hate' again.

DQ owner calls young mother N-word in front of her child
A Dairy Queen franchise owner called a 21 year old mother of 2 the N-word, when she asked for a refund because he order was delivered to her incomplete.
The Zion, IL woman went to her nearby 'Dairy Queen Grill & Chill' to order lunch for her daughter who is 3 on Wednesday. She returned to the restaurant and asked for her $5 back, because the order given to her was not correct. The request put owner James Crichton into a frenzy, and he called Delaneira Ford and her children the N-word. This caused Ford's 3 year old daughter what that word meant.
When Ford asked for the franchise owner's name, first he said "Bill Clinton". Then he said "Donald Trump". He then told Ford to 'go back to where you came from', and at that point Ford called the police.
According to the bizzare police statement, Crichton admitted everything - and proudly boasted of calling her the N-word and mistreating her. He said he was 'fed up' with Black people, and continued to call black people racial slurs, according to the officer's report.
The community rallied around Ford, including the Mayor and the Police chief. A DQ spokesperson said this is not representative of the company, and they planned on stripping Crichton of his franchise. As of Saturday, the restaurant remained closed.
