Yeah, and Biden would probably be "amazed" that he is "clean and articulate" for a black man. It's good he's NOT a Rethuglican or else Hester wouldn't be so quick with her praise. He'd just be another Uncle Tom.

Rubio is not a sharp guy. He's reading his questions and nothing Tillerson says causes him to depart from the script. Rubio is not listening to Tillerson, he's just getting through his paper. It's amazing he's gotten as far as he has. Just not impressive in any sense.
Re: OT: CORY BOOKER testifying against Sessions NOW
Rubio is not a sharp guy.
He isn't at all, and never pretended to be. He just wants the world to know his penis is bigger than Trump's - that's a major accomplishment for him.

Re: OT: CORY BOOKER testifying against Sessions NOW
From a legal scholar who voted for Obama in 2008 and in 2012 -
The whole world was talking about Trump anyway. Booker's turn on the stage played to an empty house. And he's lucky it did. He was awful! From the transcript:
I want an Attorney General who is committed to supporting law enforcement and securing law and order. But that is not enough. Law and order without justice is unobtainable, they are inextricably tied together. If there is no justice, there is no peace.
The Alabama State Troopers on the Edmond Pettis Bridge were seeking law and order. The marchers were seeking justice and ultimately the greater peace.
What does that have to do with Jeff Sessions? How does Booker tie Sessions to the notion of law and order without justice? Booker is taking the extreme step of testifying against his Senate colleague, with whom he cosponsored a Congressional Gold Medal for those who marched in Selma, Alabama. What does Booker have on Sessions?
Booker doesn't say. He resorts to an embarrassing repetition of the not-very-catchy empty phrase "but his record indicates that he wont"
What was even worse for Booker was what happened after he finished. He'd gone first on a panel of 6 all black men. (Watch the entire panel at C-SPAN) The second man to speak was Larry D. Thompson, who spoke in concrete detail about working with Sessions. Suddenly, we're in the world of evidence and real life.
The third speaker was Representative John Lewis, who spoke of history and the wrongs of the past but had nothing fact-based to say about Sessions. After Lewis came another man who, like Thompson, spoke from personal experience.
Then we got Cedric Richmond, chairman of the Black Congressional Caucus, who, like Booker and Lewis, spoke in political generalities, with nothing specific about Sessions. The last speaker was another man like Thompson, who knew and worked with Sessions, spoke warmly about his personal interaction with Sessions, and vouched for Sessions's racial virtue.
I thought it was immensely embarrassing for Booker, Lewis, and Richmond. Richmond even used the "back of the bus" complaint about this panel going last:
"To have a senator, a House member and a living civil rights legend testify at the end of all of this is the equivalent of being made to go to the back of the bus. It's a petty strategy. I don't mind being last, but to have a living legend like John Lewis treated like that is beyond the pale."
Who falls for that sort of sophistry? Why did Booker participate in this awkward drama?
I got the impression we were supposed to see this as a hint of the presidential candidate Booker could be. Maybe he could a great candidate some day. Some people might think it's a shame that Trump got all the attention yesterday and the spotlight didn't shine on Cory Booker. I say he's lucky. He was terrible!
Re: OT: CORY BOOKER testifying against Sessions NOW
Booker has to be the most overrated politician ever. Even when he was mayor he was made out to be some great political star. As someone who lives in NJ, it irked me how he only bothered to visit South Jersey only a few times during his Senate campaign, and would only go into Camden when he did visit here. Since winning, he again has only been to Camden a handful of times to cut a ribbon or two. Not that Menendez is much better, but he atleast goes to a few graduations, swearing ins, and ribbon ceremonies outside Camden in my area, and when up for election makes an effort to earn people's votes around South Jersey.

And yet you have Christie. SHM!
Honestly, does it really matter that he did not visit cites outside of Camden? Camden was and still needs help.
It takes a sick mind for someone to keep replying to your posts when you said they're on ignore.
Re: OT: CORY BOOKER testifying against Sessions NOW
Yes taxation with representation does matter. Booker represents all of NJ, not just Camden, Newark, and the locations of rich donors homes/dinners. I get that he is probably gonna run in 4 yrs, and he is the next big democrat star, but from what i've seen he is over rated, and hasn't done much for the state of NJ.

What does Christie have to do with anything? Christie with all his faults, atleast bothered to campaign thruout the whole state, and has made real impacts on Camden that has turned it from the most violent city in America to.well it's still probably in the top 50, but it's finally on its way to havning a future, and in 10 yrs should have a decent downtown.
Don't forget NJ is a very blue state, and Christie before bridgegate was a very popular person in this state. I'll even let you in on a secret. Bridgegate might've been what started his downturn in popularity, but most people don't even care about it outside the natinal media. What really turned the public against Christie here in NJ, was coming out as a Cowboy fan, and being in Jerry Jones owner box when the cowboys played both the eagles and giants. Bridgegate got the liberals who always hated him screaming, but him cheering against eagles/giants with Jerry Jones is what NJ residents angrily calling into talk radio screaming about him being a fat SOB who should be impeached.

I was comparing Booker not visiting some cities and a governor who has been all around but is a mess.
I never liked him.

Re: OT: CORY BOOKER testifying against Sessions NOW
Cory Booker wants to be Obama 3.0 after Obama 2.0 aka Hillary crashed and burned and lowlife scum such as Hester would lick up Booker's slops and ask for leftovers.
Re: OT: CORY BOOKER testifying against Sessions NOW
That would be great news if Booker follows Obama's footsteps. As everyone knows, if Obama was allowed to run for a third term (as Republicans worried he would) he would most likely have won against Trump!
