The View : Alec Baldwin Is Going To Have Fun On SNL

There are so many things to play off of

I hope Alec incorporates some of the following into the next SNL skit:

1) Drinking Water - they totally left it out of the 1st debate so I'm hoping they'll actually use it for parodying parts of this last debate because he was the only one of them drinking water again

2) Fixing his microphone - I think he was fiddling with the mic on purpose almost like he wanted to have an excuse ready if he did poorlyassuming they'll be doing a split screen again, it would be funny to see the mic looking a little more twisted every time they cut to a wide shot of him

3) The sniffing - still doing it although not as pronounced

4) The Wrongs - his constant usage of that word

5) Interrupting The Moderator - perhaps they'll do that again

What else did he do?

During the debate, Bill Maher noted that doing all that sniffing while talking about drugs wasn't good for Trump. He also said that Alec Baldwin did an outstanding job portraying Trump during the debate.

The pundits said he was more behaved/mellow (I didn't notice that) but I noticed he sniffed a bit less.are they tied together?

Somebody should tell trump this makes him look like a schoolyard brat.
Hardly the US President he wants to be.

Internet, pundits react to Trump nasty woman comment

Just before Trump said that, Clinton seemed to get under his skin.

Shed been talking about her proposal to preserve Social Security and Medicare. Her plan, she noted, would raise taxes on the wealthy, including her and Trump. And then she added of the billionaire, who in the 1990s took nearly a $1 billion write-off for business losses: Assuming he cant figure out how to get out of it.

As she continued talking Trump interjected, Such a nasty woman. He raised his right hand to point his finger and shook his head, letting his mouth drop open in apparent disgust.

Clinton let the comment roll off her and continued pressing her case.

My son suggested they use the puppet exchange for a skit. Trump and Clinton are dressed as marionettes fighting and then later it is revealed that Trump is controlled by Putin and Clinton by Obama. I thought it was too funny.

I only heard him interrupting HRC to say at least 3 times "No puppet" after her initial insult. Did she go back and forth, or was it him just repeating it?

Needless to say he sounded like a moron. It may be normal for a pre-school child or PeeWee Herman, but not a grown old man running for President.

I agree with Office's son. I know they won't forget to put that exchg on SNL.

Obama is an American, the President of our nation. Putin is the tyrant running a totalitarian government of Russia. Big difference, even if you believe there are strings.

Hillary nailed that exchange. As many journalists have pointed out, Trump came off as a child having a tantrum. "You're the puppet, waaaahhhhhh. . . ."

Alec Baldwin has taken time out from savagely beating Kim Basinger and his daughter Ireland in order to appear on Saturday Night Live?

He is most certainly a candidate for sainthood.

It would be great if they did a couple of skitsopen with the debate and then also do a skit with that charity dinner as well

Yeah I wish they would devote more time to the political skits or have more of them because there is so much material to cover and yes a whole episode would be fab

The young lady on that SNL show sounds nothing like Hillary, doesn't have her mannerisms either. Baldwin is good but not great. I have seen better imitations of Trump.

Kate Mckinnon is fantastic as hilary and alec baldwin is great as trump

You're kidding right. Mickinnon sounds more like she is imitating Chuckie off of The Rugrats than Hillary Clinton, just compare: (Chuckie off of the Rugrats) (Kate Mickinnon)


I think Kate Mickinnon stinks as Hillary Clinton. Aside from the voice being off, the appearance job is totally lazy. She uses no old lady makeup whatsoever or remote attemtp to look older. She looks like 23 year old with a wig on. Alec at least looks his part and puts makeup on to look like Trump. And then Kate doesn't have her voice. Look at this lady. She actually sounds like CLinton in voicevoice

But SNL has always hired bad imitators. Look at this terrible imitation of Beyonce by Maya Rudolph here and compare it to someone who is actually good at impersonator Beyonce here

Instead of hiring on people just because they are already celebrities and recognized by the public, why don't they actually do casting calls for good impersonators? Because Hollywood is so cliquish, their imitations will always be second rate.

Agree, pbfan. I love them both. Kate and Alec are hilarious. They play off one another fabulously.
