Re: The Devil's Gift
Yeah, I read that review, too and in the full version, the monkey takes over the mom that would be SO cool for MST to do.

Re: The Devil's Gift
Does anybody know what the significance of the badge/pendant thing is in 'The Devil's Gift'? They left it in 'Merlin's Shop' although it makes no sense in the context of that story. One of the Sol crew quips, "Grandpa Borgnine must of forgotten about this."

No, it was explained if I'm thinking of the same object. The father seeks the help of a psychic, and she gives him the pendant for his own protection while he has to figure out how to rid of the monkey. She also explains why she herself is unable to rid of the monkey for him.
Re: The Devil's Gift
Wow! Im replying to a 2004 post, YAY!
I was watching the MST3K episode of this movie when I realized that I had seen a tralier related to the monkey toy many many years before (I only saw the trailer, not the movie).
During that part of the movie I was expecting the actor who played the dad would open a door, and find himself face to face with a huge demon who would puck on him.
Obvoisuly that never happened in this movie, but I had that feeling all along. weird!
