The Cheetah Girls 2 : Worried about Cheetah Girls 3

Okay I just saw the what time is it video on youtube and all im saying is that without rae's voice and and her star power that she has and the influence she has over disney fans the other three better step it up.

You mean High School Musical 2 vs. Cheetah Girls 3? I think HSM 2 is already sort of ripping off CG2. And hopefully Raven will star in Cheetah Girls 3 and they'll top HSM 2. If HSM 3 can go to theaters, so can CG3.

well,i've heard some bad news. raven won't be in CG3

Speaking of ripped off"What time is it" sorta reminds me of "Step Up" from CG2maybe its just the Corbin singin, "WHAT TIME IS IT??" Then the others sings "summer time" Kinda like Rae singin, "Its time to workin it, Gotta do it 4real, its time to dance" and the cheetahs singin, "step up, step out, say it loud"

Actually, the song "What Time Is It" reminds me of "The Party's Just Begun". But whatever. CGs will always be better than HSM.

The Cheetah Girls are more tan capable to hold a movie together.


In fact I got this excess baggage feeling from Raven in the 2nd one. I think they wanted to make the movie about Sabrina since the first was about Raven.

The song is alright, but the movies were about all four girls. When one is being dropped from the next movie, especially it being the LEAD SINGER of the group (Raven, who was the most popular of the group by far), you know their swimming up a creek without a paddle.

JG: You hit the nail squarely on the head! This is exactly what I've been saying since October, 2006. Raven was THE franchise! When you lose the franchise star, you lose just about everything there is that made them so unique.

Watch HSM2 draw a Disney record 10 million viewers in its first telecast. Then next year, watch CG3 struggle to get 7 million. All because Raven is not there.

Disney wanted Raven in the movie and Raven wanted to do the movie but she was busy recording her album



Besides Adrienne and Kiely are doing a lot right now. Not only are they recording a Cheetah Girls album but they also have to record a soundtrack next year. And then Kiely and Adrienne have to record their next 3LW album.


They have to promote the albums too. Meaning at least 2 tours

Disney will probably send them on a Cheetah Girls extravaganza featuring songs from their album and the soundtrack. Then 3LW may go on a tour themselves.

Raven has 2 movies coming up that she filming, she recording and then going on tour for her album. Tell me where is she going to find time?


It's not the group it's the music and the name. This reminds me of The Click Five after Eric Dill left I stopped listening to them but that doesn't make them any less popular. The Click Five is still a popular name.

When the HSM cast release their own album I'm sure zac will drop out and Drew seeley will replace him. But that won't make them less popular.


Raven wasn't even used that much in TCG2. Notice how the camera always panned on the other girls and Raven was off to the side? I think Raven wanted to move on. And based of these songs The Cheetah Girls are capible of singing as a group.


Besides 4 is an odd number for a group

5 is common as with 3 but 4 isn't common.


Remember Destiny's Child? 3 members - sucessful
NSYNC - 5 members - sucessful
Backstreet Boys - 4 members now and they aren't as popular.


Raven is bigger than the Cheetah Girls. Disney is trying to get their own Destiny's Child now with The Cheetah Girls and Sabrina has to do something.


BTW did you hear them on The View? Sabrina was pretty good and Adrienne is really good. Besides Sabrina not singing in tune with the others they still did it well.

I agree with Maserati7777, but just to let you know. Destiny's Child started with 4 members. And in the Cheetah Girls book series, their are 5 girls. Just not in the movies.

Excuse me??? i was with you until the (4 member bands arent as common) thing1st of all its a even number, and it just works better in dance routines AND harmoneies..

i know its all pretty much R&B but hey, if these girls werent on Disney then thats pretty much all they are.

Worry some more, JG. HSM2 absolutely blew away the ratings records in its first telecast. 17.2 MILLION VIEWERS!!! Cheetahs without Raven are toast.

I know. Im not surprised cause HSM is huge whilist the Cheetah Girls 3 will be like trying to pump air into a flat tire without Raven.

im just sad to say EVEN WITH Raven, HSM 2 will hold the record of MOST telecast on cable, cus if Raven did come back, i bet Disney would put CG3 in Theatures.which wont give them time to out-do HSM 2 on T.V.And u already know if that were to happen, Disney would only put HSM 3 in theatures to beat out CG3.In all cases, i think CG are always gonna get beat by HSM.
But Raven would STILL help better.

Aye. At least with Raven the Cheetahs would stand even HALF a chance of drawing 10 million viewers. But still, I think Cheetahs and Bollywood don't mix, and I wonder if that alone (besides the infighting) prompted Raven to bail out.

By the way, Disney is talking about making HSM3, an HSM theatrical movie AND HSM4! In other words, HSM3 and 4 will be on TV, in addition to a theatrical HSM movie.

If Cheetahs want to go theatrical, I suggest they use the storyline of book 9 ("Showdown at the Okie-Pokie"). But they're going to need Raven for this (if not her, than someone in her place), as well as another girl group to portray their would-be adversaries.

Man, Raven would SOOOOO help this franchise, i mean the 3 are doing well enough on they're own, but i KNOW these girls arent getting as much hype and as much promotion simply because Ravens not in it with themshes the GOLDEN girl who would rwally know how to promote the movie esspecilly if it hit theatures

Cheetah Girls was much better than both HSM movies.

In Book 9 ("Showdown at the Okie-Pokie"), Galleria is accused of lifting the lyrics of a song by another girl group, and that group, ready to take the Cheetahs to court, challenges them.

thats a theature movie to you?? i mean its a great 1hr episode if cheetahs were a drama show but a theatrical movie?
