Lennon looks serious, almost worried

My opinion? JL probably had a moment there when he felt in danger, felt a really bad vibe from the jerk(persona non gratis). Because John was probably the happiest he had ever been in his entire life during the months that lead up to the moment of that photo, I feel certain he completely ignored his intuition and wrote it off as paranoia.

Yeah, I got it ALL figured out.

How do you get that? I just looked at the photo and he just looks non-chalant signing an album.

I don't think he looks worried; I think he's just concentrating, or perhaps lost in his own thoughts There is a tendency to read too much into things in hindsight, but if we had no idea what was to come, then this would just be a normal photograph.

Agree that Lennon seems fairly calm and casual.

However, take a good look at MDC. His glasses make it seems as if he's also looking down at what Lennon's signing but he's not. His eyes are intently focused on Lennon.

Like the predator that he was.

Yeah. That IS creepy.

That picture is haunting.

It really is. I think it's because the background is just one solid color, and Chapman is half in the picture, half not.
