The Room : Lines TW actually delivered well

Lines TW actually delivered well

I know, there aren't many.

"I think you should leave right now, Mark." He hit it, just right.

And not really a line, but his reaction to the surprise party while they were singing Happy Birthday. It's really not a bad few seconds. He's relaxed, seems happy, his interactions seem smooth and natural.

I think that's all I can come up with. Any others?

Re: Lines TW actually delivered well

"I'm tired, I'm wasted, I love you darling" genuinely felt like it was being said by someone who was drunk.

IdrinkyourMILKSHAKE!

I DRINK IT UP!!!

Re: Lines TW actually delivered well

I'm going to assume Tommy was drunk to get that line down. Because that's the only explanation.

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

"Well, you should be happy, Mark.", says Johnny while staring melancholically out of the window of the coffee shop.

I actually thought his reaction on the roof just before he announces they're expecting was very natural, but that's only because it was actually Tommy waving to a crew member off-camera.

Re: Lines TW actually delivered well

I thought his delivery of "get out of my house" to Mark wasn't bad. He sounds legitimately pissed / threatening.

Another not half bad one was when Mark shows up at his front door during his conversation with Peter. A pretty simple, if oft-repeated, line: "oh hai Mark, come in"; but for some reason it works better than usual and seems more natural in that scene.

Re: Lines TW actually delivered well

'Get out my house' is his best line reading in the movie, but also one of my favorite awkward moments because he's being his most genuine but also it makes no sense grammatically. That's maybe my favorite moment in the movie.

Re: Lines TW actually delivered well

"We'll see what else we have on this tape"

His physical acting in this scene is also not bad for a bit.

Re: Lines TW actually delivered well

I will record everything.

Say, do you hear that? It's the sound of the Reaper..
