Is there a reason why Kristen Stewart host SNL?

Started off about as bad as Felicity Jones (although bad, Jones was still not the worst host in SNL history). However, to her credit, KS became better, and more comfortable, as the show progressed. She did what she could with weak material, and she was extremely hot in the Family Feud sketch.

Pretty sure they wanted to highlight Trump's tweets about her breakup with that actor she was dating.

I wonder how many people think those tweets were made up by SNL staff and not actual tweets by the man who would one day be president.

She's notoriously bad on live TV.a strange choice indeed for hosting SNL. At least they were smart enough not to give her a lot of screen time. I think they were trying to drive up publicity with her "coming out" (I know she's openly dated women, but she used to refer to herself as bisexual). She's very beautiful and I've enjoyed her in a couple movies, but hosting SNLmmm no, it was as cringe-worthy as I was expecting it to be.

When she stepped out to the buzzer in the Family Feud sketch the show improved dramatically

She is very hot. Period. But live comedy is obviously not her forte. Still, that's true of a lot of guests. That's why they have the rest of the SNL cast members to handle that part of it.

I don't know that she's promoting any specific movie, but I wouldn't take her "coming out" thing too seriously. Some lesbians "experiment" with heterosexuality before "coming out of the closet". But some heterosexual women might experiment with lesbianism. And some women are honest-to-god bisexuals. And some female celebrities just basically pretend to be bisexual/lesbian because it's "hot" and trendy. I don't know (or really care) what Stewart is doing, but given all the "experimenting" she's already done with men, I wouldn't expect her to become exclusively lesbian from here on out.
