Would we expect a Carrie Fisher tribute in the January return?

Seems right considering that she was an icon who hosted in 1978. That, and Felicity Jones will be hosting in the return, so there will most likely be some Star Wars references.

On the other hand, 2 and a half weeks would pass when the show comes back, and Carrie's death may become old news by then, idk.

I hope so!

"The kids" all breaking out in the twist on the beach to "Obi-Wan Kenobi" is one of my all time favorite skits.

It's one of the first things I ever recorded with a VCR, back when it aired live. I'm pretty sure I still have the tape stuck away somewhere.

Yeah I saw SNL uploaded that episode on Hulu just recently.
