I thought the game was alot like a movie, I just don't understand why you'd want to make a movie based on a game, just play the game lol.

The game was so much like a movie so making it into a movie would be crap, unless it went with a different story alltogether. But making a movie would suck because the game was just so perfectly like a film.

I can't stop thinking that Nate is Nathan Fillion throughout every second of the whole game. I have watched too much Firefly. But I think he sounds very similar and the character is similar to the Firefly character.

I think Nate was pretty clearly based physically and personality-wise on Nathan Fillion and his persona (and his name!). The characterization of the voice was so similar, that's how I ended up here (seeing if it was Fillion).

Personally, I wouldn't like to see Uncharted be made into a movie. I think it's perfect just the way it is. But if a movie ever were to go ahead:

Check out the show Firefly on DVD. If you like the humor and adventure of Drake's Fortune, you'll totally dig that show Nathan Fillion is the star.

I'm a massive Evil Dead fan (hence my screen-name) so I'm all for more movies starring my man Bruce Campbell, but I think he's too young to play Sully. Fifteen years ago he would have made an excellent Nate. In fifteen years time he would make an excellent Sully. I just hope that they make Evil Dead 4 in the meantime.

Well, Bruce Campbell is 50 now, which I would guess is about Sully's age. Much older and Sully would be worried about breaking a hip.

I've had a bit of a re-think. I never was too happy about my choice of Ryan Reynolds for Nate, but now I'm certain that I have come up with the perfect man for the job. Josh Holloway!

I don't think he'd be a good choice to play him in any way so I am not saying that, but Drake kept reminding me of Nick Lachey when I played the game.

Nathan should be played by Nathabn Fillion from firefly. Come on, they look identical and his character on Firefly is pretty much exactly the same personality wise.

In my opinion Josh Duhamel would make a really good Nate. Ryan Reynolds and Nathan Fillion are good for making Drake have a sence of humor, but i think josh duhamel fits it best

i feel that if you are going to do a movie of any kind of adaption, you should cast stars that arent well known or mainstream.

Ok I've basically read every post in this thread and have played most of the game so far. I was thinking Josh Dumel would be good as Nate but he seems to play the same dude in every movie he's in. Nathan Fillion would be best though, I mean I never watched Firefly but he's been good in every other thing I've seen him in. Serious/funny just like Nate. But while I was playing the game I thought of Craig Bierko.
About Elena I can't think of anyone better than Emily Rose. JK Simmons would be perfect as Sully.
Whoever said Charles Dance should play Roman is freaking spot on, that guy's screen presence ozzes villian, good actor too.
