Project Runway : Erin should make the clothes she wears

CONTAINS POSSIBLE SPOILERS. I am not a big fan of Erin however I noticed that the outfits that she wears every day to the challenges were more wearable / something that somebody might buy versus the ones she designed for the runway. It seems the runway designs she has are for a special occasion. They are pieces for a magazine shoot, OR .Project Runway. The ones she makes for herself are cute quirky, unique; and I can see these catching on and selling very well, i.e. the watermelon dress. If you look back at the earlier challenges, you will see what I mean.

Yes, I remember the faux leather short shorts, or booty shorts she'd wear on occasion. Her fashion sense does not match the crap she wears.

But then Zac Posen's said he didn't want Laurence to win because her designs are in stores now. So if Erin would have made stuff she wore, she may have gotten the same critique.

When he said "her designs are in stores now" I saw exactly what he meant. Why give the winning prize to someone who created a dull ready to wear collectionThe winner should not have been Erin. I would have selected Roberi. Everyone else did not bring their A game.

Agree! Roberi was the only one who turned out a thoughtful final collection.

That said, I love Erin's watermelon dress.

I'm wondering if she lost her virginity to a banana because there's no other reason a person would be that obsessed with a certain food. I love chocolate, but I'm not going to display it on every piece of clothing I wear or art I create. That's bonkers.

I actually agree with this.

She is weird, but the clothes she wear are more "wearable weird".

But clothes on her collection are "ugly weird".
