Tickled (2016)

Haven't seen it, but I might tonight. Was interested after seeing the trailer, then read an article/interview, so I think I know all of the plot/outline.

edit: Was instead of wasn't.

Re: What Documentaries did you see in August 2016?

Last Sunday, as a double header at the Film Forum, I caught Jheronimus Bosch, Touched by the Devil (2015) in the afternoon. Lovely to look at, fun to watch. Nothing more innovative or thought-provoking than a typical color-by-numbers art documentary.

Thinking about catching An Art That Nature Makes: The Work of Rosamond Purcell (2015) this Saturday or Sunday as it's hitting a limited theatrical run at the Film Forum this week.

A good study of a great seaman and navigator. Not too comprehensive but still fair, accurate and enjoyable.
