Bewitched : The Boards are closing!

Anyone have any ideas where to visit and discuss shows like Bewitched? IMDB is closing it's message boards! So sad! I loved discussing these shows/movies.

I'm going to miss you all! If anyone has any ideas of other websitesPLEASE post your thoughts here.

I really think IMDB is screwing themselves over. Why bother coming to this site now?

This is the worst news I've read in a very long time. I, too, am stunned and
greatly saddened. What is the point of enjoying, watching, re-watching fave
films and TV shows when one no longer has an outlet to discuss with other
fans?? Sure, there is bickering, sometimes childishly so (I've been guilty),
but things are forgotten among real fans, and real trolls leave anyway.

Now, nothing.

I think the real culprit is Facebook, which is where everyone posts about
everything. I have never had any interest in Facebook, so that will not be
an option for me.

Again, very sad news. What a bummer.

Just signed on to see this. I actually use Facebook a lot and will look there. Gonna miss all this though. Truly an end of an era.

I'm another non-user of social media and even this news won't force me into it. It sucks.

I've been a member there too, for quite a while. It's not the same as here (different personalities) , but it's worth joining. The moderators are pretty strict, as well - so if anything gets really out of hand they will put a stop to it.

Yes, I am so sad that the message boards are closing down. I've been on IMDB since 2005 and I visit practically every day. I guess I won't be wasting any more time reading comments from now on. Oh well, another thing Trump has ruined for us; free speech.

I can't tell you how saddened I am by this move by corporate Americaand that's what it is. Just another dumb ass move for sure.

I'm usually looking over the boards on several shows and actually enjoy the chaos on some.

Going through the stages of grief and just trying to accept the loss.

Yeah, this really sucks. I still don't really understand the exact reason for discontinuing it, despite "much careful deliberation" on their part. Too many trolls? Too expensive?

I don't think they care about the trollsthe last few years have shown me that. I think it's all about money. And they don't want to spend any money to make the boards betterand they don't see a viable way to get money out of the boards.

If IMDB were to charge, say, a set annual fee for unlimited use for a year, I'd pay it (depending on how much they'd be asking).

I haven't seen this person post in years, but someone used to constantly post asking about much Elizabeth Montgomery weighed during her pregnancies, which was annoying.

I posted this on another threat, but I'm really disappointed to see that the IMDb boards are going away. Active boards like this were always fun to read, and I always liked being able to go to the board of any movie or TV show from the dawn of cinema that I had just watched to see if others had posted about it or asked questions. I can imagine the trolling on board for super popular new movies or celebrities, but it's a shame for everything else like Bewitched. Harpiesbizarre.com used to have a really great and active message board for years, but it has kind of died out in the 2010s.
