Santa Clarita Diet : Doesn't look like…

Santa Clarita in the initial overhead shot in the trailer. I live here and can't put my finger on where that shot is taken from. The community/landscape is nice enough to get actual shots of Santa Clarita for the show.

At least some of it was filmed here, because they used a house in my neighborhood, on the corner of Placeritos Blvd. and Quigley Canyon Road, across the street from the Master's College.

I'm sure they filmed in town, I meant specifically for the overhead shots. BTW I live in Placerita Cyn, so you're not too far from me :)
