John Wick: Chapter 2 : Do Not See This in Theaters

Do Not See This in Theaters

The sound in the movie was too loud, now I have ear problems. I will be definitely suing the producers.

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

If it's too loud, you're too old.

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

Airheads?

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

I'll def by watching it then. Lol

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

The sound was completely normal in theatersmaybe I was just drunk?

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

alcohol does have that effect. I worked in a recordings studio in college. one of the engineers says that music from 70's and 80's is very trebley, because everyone was doing coke, and coke dims the high frequencies. so, in 80's production, they boosted treble.

another engineer said that drunk producers tend to boost the bass, because alcohol consumption deadens the aural nerves to low frequencies.

based on the sound of the music, you can tell which types of intoxicants the producers were on.

i guess weed/THC deadens bass too. so, stoned producers (rap, reggae, ska) boost the bass.

^interesting

And whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first, they must catch you

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

I know it is why when you get hammered you start taking LOUD!

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

Maybe it's just YOUR theatre that was too loud, it doesn't means others would be too.

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

Exactly.

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

Lol on the journey back home i was praising the sound. It makes it a must to see this in theatres.

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

LMAO

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

It was a bit abrasive I found - my hearing is a bit damaged from youtube videos with headphones on max a few times / tannoys and sirens hurt. The volume at my screening was similar but maybe not as loud in volume to Mad Max Fury Road which I would have enjoyed better with earplugs or tissue in my ears

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

The whole movie was basically narrated by Deadpoolbang! bang! bang! bang! bang! BANG! BANGG! bang!

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

I thought my theater just had the volume overly loud but during dialogue scenes it was normal. I prefer my movies to have a punch to the volume but when it started the revving of the car engines was becoming unbearable. I didn't so much mind the gun shots and music though but the sound mixing was a tad bit too loud.

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

I loved the movie but this movie was so damn loud and I did have that feeling after you leave a loud club.

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

Sorry us true Action fans like it loud. The louder the better.

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

Too late, super cool.

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

Loud is good but I think in certain cinemas, like the one I went to where they usually have the volume turned up pretty loud, they didn't count on how loud the mix in the film already was. At times it was too trebley and ear piercing.

Re: Do Not See This in Theaters

Your ears were so damaged that by the time you saw La La Land, you called it a masterpiece.
