Re: Best performances

Re: Best performances

Jack Reynor in Sing Street

Re: Best performances

Sam Worthing in Clash of the Titans
accents cutting in and out in the same sentence.
putting on such a faked and tried voice, it was cardboard

Re: Best performances

Ellen Page in Juno (in future movies she kinda sucks ;/ )

Re: Best performances

Pattison in "The Rover" is a great example. What a surprise he was in that!

A couple of others according to Me"

Dwayne Johnson in Pain & Gain (2013). A beautifully delivered straight-faced comedic/dramatic performance of a truly clueless character.

Keanu Reeves in Man of Tai Chi (2013). Keanu has matured and hardened since his surfer dude days. The man he plays is powerful and commanding. He is the focal point and in control whenever he is in the room and Reeves can project that power. I was amazed.

Jon Lovitz in Casino Jack (2010). Jon Lovitz gives a vivid characterization as the deadbeat business man that Abramoff (Kevin Spacey) picks as the front man for the casino ship bid.

Trust me. I’m The Doctor.

Re: Best performances

Kip Pardue in Loggerheads. But just to clarify, I never really thought Kip Pardue was a bad actor per se. But he really surprised me in this particular film.
