Failure to Launch : I didn't like this film the first time I watched it

But after watching it a second time, the quirky characters really grew on me and I actually enjoyed it much more on the second viewing. The parents are quite hilarious and all the friends were great too. Does anyone else feel that way?

Interesting, the exact same thing happened to me! I saw it a few years ago and didn't care for it. But it was on TV last night and something about it just clicked with me. I think it was probably Zooey's character that I clicked with me, but either way, I liked it better the 2nd time.

Yep, same here. I didn't actually remember having watched the film before. Then Zoey Dachenel turned up and I remembered it as one of those films where I much preferred the 2nd romantic leads more - which is surprisingly common with RomComs. But I watched the film through and have to admit I enjoyed it more this time around.
