Date Night : Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

The pair up of Tina and Steve is amazing for me because I'm a big fan of them both. Exp. Steve, I don't know why I laugh even if he is just smiling.

Anyway, I love the type of humor they present in this film as being realistic with only the absurd twist of the date night happening. But all in all, the acting was like real life. So these lines cracked me up:

"Don't judge me..but what is a flash drive?

"That's Will.I.Am, from Fergie."

"F. U. Mother Effer."

"Hey...man."

"He turned the gun sideways! It's a kill shot! That's a KILL SHOT!" hahahaha

Also, the pictures of Tina Fey were hilarious in this movie. I also laughed hard when they were dancing.

How about you guys?

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

"They stabbed a chicken nugget with a sharpie, these are not good people."

"Aw man, now I have to eat it off the floor"

"Shut your vagina!" "He means your face."

"That's great Jeremy but I going to go home and fart in a shoebox."

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

"Ok how about you shirt-it-up and we can finish this"

HAHAHAH MY FAV!

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

Hahah "Eff you, mother..effer! *beep* Hilarious!

"Please, for the love of God, put on a f--king shirt!!" - This makes the movie!

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

"I want you to work that pole like a Russian immigrant."

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

"thats great jeremy, but i have to go home and look at my vagina in a hand mirror"
and the robot sex

it starts with a HOLLA and it ends with a creamsicle

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

Unfortunately the majority of the funny lines in this movie were on the gag reel after it ended. And the cabbie. He was hilarious!

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

Ohmigosh, I loved the cabbie!!

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

The cabbie is Leon from Curb Your Enthusiasm. He's awesome in that too. Steals any scene he's in!

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

Yah I thought so

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

Best line - either "He's turned the gun sideways It's a Killshot!" or the maitre d' "Goodbye, I've forgotten you already"

Best scene - definitely the robot sex scene. Funniest scene I've seen in a long time.

You're an errand boy, sent by grocery clerks, to collect a bill

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

The robot sex scene was funny but I laughed harder when they first went up on the pole dancing podium and they started dancing like an old couple at a wedding.

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

Yep, the cabbie was hysterical! I KNEW I'd seen him in something, but couldn't remember it was C.Y.E. until reading that here!

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

Definitely when Tina Fey says to Mark Wahlberg, "I bet you do all kinds of right." And then she has the blankest look on her face while Steve Carell is staring at her blankly too. Such good comic timing! And the cabbie was hilarious.

Donnie: Oh, please, tell me Elizabeth, how exactly does one suck a fu*k?

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

"Sam.I.Am"

"Who likes shirts?"

"Yes, only twice a week, is why I was surprised"

"Are we going to have a duel at 10 paces?"

"Come on rainbow wheel"

"That is literally a stress dream I have"

"that was very nice of her to ask us to have sex"

"...and forget about the back door!"

"do you have any contact with your mother at all?"

"Yo yo yo, I'm having the sex. I'm gettin' busy"

"you have so many knees"

"I have no idea how to respond to THAT!...F.U.!"

"I'm gonna keep you guessing"

"Oh great, now I don't have to pay for college"

"He's going to call her by his mom's name"

"If I knew anything about Will.I.Am I would be psyched"

"I love potatoes, but I don't actually ever put them in my mouth"

"I don't want the kids to live with your mother. She's awful!"

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

Someone help me...what exactly did he say to her when they were in the strip club, going into the back room...put your cooter, coochie, out there?? Something along those lines...help it was funny but i was laughing to hard to remember it!!!

[On the pay phone]
Do you accept this collect call from: "THIS PHONE SMELLS LIKE URINE!"?

RIP Brittany Murphy

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

I don't know why, but the part when Carrel was talking on the intercom pretending to be Mark Wallberg was HILARIOUS.

"Who's that supposed to be, fat Albert?"

Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

You have no idea what its like to be a Taliban teenage girl menstruating in the desert!

Well...neither do you.

Don't you throw up on me!

I absolutely love the return to the Claw restaurant, and they were pretending to be Sam I Am's entourage.

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

I was in tears I was laughing so hard at that! Even at the credits when he did different variations of it

"heeeey....y'ceeeent c'mup...wur heven sehks..." LMAO

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

AHAH that was hilarious.

I loved all the Wahlberg scenes but my favorite line was probably "and For the love of God, put on a ******* shirt!"

THAT was flippin' hysterical

1,000,000 Strong for free thinking!

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

I LIKED the whole whacked off dialogue

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

After Steve Carell shoot with that pistol.. "this gun is *beep*

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

When they answer the phone, "Claw, you're welcome."

And when the cabbie jumped out of the car and Steve said, "See ya' later!"

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

No mention of one of my favorite lines:

"It's like the Asian guy in Sixteen Candles, Long Dick Dog."

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

There were SOOO many parts/lines that got big laughs. I've seen it twice so far and would probably see it again, because it just gets funnier each time.

"That's amazing Jeremy, but I'm gonna go home now and fart into a shoe-box." (And the outtakes that go with this scene: "bleach my moustache," and "look at my vagina with a hand-mirror."

When Tina says to Kristin Wiig, "Get that bird away from me."

"Hello, Claw, you're welcome!"

"That's Will.i.am...from Fergie!"

Steve Carell: "Or I'll just suck on my napkin," about the food prices being so high.

When the guy knocks Tina's risotto out of her hand and she says, "Ugh, now I have to pick it up off the ground to eat it!"

The slow-moving boat

When Steve asks Tina if she has gum after he threw up on the street

"Will you accept a collect call from: OH MY GOD THIS PHONE SMELLS LIKE URINE!"

Any of Steve's reactions to Wahlberg, "For the love of God, could you put on a (bleeping) shirt!"

The Tripplehorns' apartment scene, "They stabbed a chicken nugget with a Sharpie. These are not good people."

The car chase cabbie

When Tina talks their way into the strip-club, "I don't really have gum."

When Tina looks at a stripper outfit and says, "Oh, that's for a monkey." And about her outfit, "It was the only one long enough to cover my c-section scar."

The long kiss over the credits

Just see it, it was hilarious!

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

i really love the one about the flashdrive. "Don't judge me but what is a flashdrive?" If only I can get the entire quote :)

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

"that is literally a stress drive that i have"

the whole scene with james franco/mila kunis - those two are hilarious

but my favorite line of all: "That's Will.I.Am...from Fergie!"

"It's hard for me to watch American Idol because I have perfect pitch."
-Jenna, 30 Rock

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

i was in histerics when he sid 'blow me!!' when he drove the car into the river...i rewound it about 5 times and was in histerics each time...it was so random

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

"I'm not really chewing gum"

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

"Thats great jeremy, but i have to go home and look at my vagina in a hand mirror" from the gag reel at the end was one of my favourite lines. It's a shame that they didn't include it in the actual movie.

"Will you please but on a <insertcensoredwordhere> shirt!" was delivered well.

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

Not a "line" per se, but my favorite moment was when the girl in Time's Square took their picture while they were filming the scene.

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

lol, yes to the person who brought up the "Claw, you're welcome" line. So funny.

I liked:

"You're on your period, aren't you?"
"Yes".

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

i think this might be close to the actual line
steve - cyndi lauper
tina - really? wait… cyndi lauper present day or…
steve - any day
tina - interesting choice

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

Omg yes that was one of the most hilarious lines. But how can people forget the one where they're running through the bush under the rowboat:

“OMG WE’RE GOING TO DIE!”
“I don’t want the kids to live with your mother! She's awful!”
“Wait can you see?”
“No!”
HITS TREE

I laughed until I cried at that part.

And what about when she's on the computer: "Rainbow wheel?! Rainbow wheel?! Come on! Come on!" Then two secs later hits open drawer. That scene was so funny.

"Tool up, honey bunny. It's time to get bad guys."

Re: Funniest line in the movie *spoiler alert*

haha, yeah that was hilarious too. so many funny bits, even still i felt like there could have been much more.
