The Middle : Sean and Lexie

What was that all about? What were Axl and Sue upset about? I might believe that Axl likes Lexie kind of, but I've never gotten the impression that Sue liked Sean.

I like Lexie, but I absolutely hate the idea of her getting with Axl, because I've decided that I dislike Axl and his arrogance intensely. And I dislike the idea that girls would see that arrogance as charm even more.

I thought at the beginning of the episode Sue was at loose ends, without a boyfriend, and when Sean arrived all friendly, Sue though he was a possibility - until Lexie came home and Sean couldn't take his eyes off her.

I think Axl was jealous two ways - he wanted Lexie to be thinking about how awesome he is, and he wanted to hang out with Sean.

I think that Axl and Sue were both jealous of their friends brushing them off for their sibling's friend.

Sean was one of Sue's first crushes. Do you remember the episode when Sue and Carly were trying to ascertain if Sean was interested in her? I always thought that it would be funny if they ended up together because her married name could become Sue Sue Donahue.

I think that Lexie was actually referring to Axl in her talk with Sue about a "bad" boy who lacked direction. Maybe that was her way of gently introducing the possibility with Sue?

You may be right. I'm always amused to see the latest way people are going to define the term "bad boy". In this case, apparently it's defined as "stupid", lol. J/k, Axl isn't as dumb as he appears I guess. It's more like you say, he lacks direction.

Yeah when I think bad boy it would go James dean, Mark Healey or some greaser
