I have friends who were obsessed with this show and would defend it to the death. I tried a couple of episodes but I just couldn't get into it as much as they would.

I'll admit that Bates Motel was a little lackluster after the first season but the latest season was really good and I'm excited for the final season coming out soon.
And yeah i also lost interest in New Girl and I stopped watching the Mindy Project when it got cancelled and moved to hulu.

Homeland - Most of the show was either hit-or-miss anyway. I thought for sure the show would have a major decline after Brody died, but season 4 wasn't half bad. Pretty great, actually. And then comes season 5, which is such a dull slog to get through, that I quit the show completely.
Doctor Who - Was so obsessed with this when I was younger. Looking back on it, I have no idea what I saw in it.
Sherlock - The break between seasons is so looong, that any hype I had began to slowly die down until it totally fizzled out.
Family Guy - Been garbage for at least 10 years now.

I don't even watch the newer ones, last time I watched it was over 3 years ago. Even then, I still hated it. It was one of those things you'd only watch late at night if there was absolutely nothing else on TV. Seth Macfarlane, in general, is just painfully unfunny nowadays.

That's what I said well, aside from saying it's good background TV. I stand by that.
While I say Family Guy does suck, I feel like South Park gets way too much credit. It's a favorite show of mine, but I didn't think the last 2 seasons were as good and profound as some people were making them. South Park works better as an episodic show, especially with the way they make them.

South Park was good for at least the first 8 - 10 seasons. After there fewer humorous episodes per season. Family Guy was okay for maybe the first three seasons imo.

oh, also modern family. i really only watch it as background because it's gone from being one of the smartest comedies ever to incredibly dumb and relying on typical gags and slapstick. pretty much after season 4 it's gone downhill.

Well, I expected something different from what Episode 1 looks like, I think I would prefer a more documental-type show of what the process to get to Mars would look like, than what 'Mars' is right now, and that disappointed me and I couldn't finish Ep. 2.

Stopped watching Bloodline after s02e04. I was hoping it would get less boring at some point, but it didn't. I also tried Supernatural a long time ago, but certain characters kept dying (and revived a couple of episodes later) over and over again, it was getting old.

I like parts of it but honestly they're jamming too many storyline into a season only to drop them completely or come back to it later when most of the audience already forgot about it.

Better Call Saul is a great show. It's just that I got behind in watching episodes and just didn't get back into it. Fargo season two is the one I abandoned because I just didn't think the actors were convincing especially Vince and Rachel.

For me, it's Agents of SHIELD. Some of the women on the show are just spellbinding, but that's not enough to keep me tuning into a show every week. Besides, I watch lots of Marvel Studios films, and I don't want them just totally programming my dome for me, if you know what I mean.
