I Think I Love My Wife : The singing at the end?

Why?

It was the funniest part of the film, at least. Reminded me of R Kelly's 'In the Closet'.

I think it was meant to show how compatible they were. Nikki didn't even share the same taste in music.

Totally ridiculous. It actually frightened me a little bit, it was just so weird and incongruous. It reminded me of In The Closet too, which would have been a good enough joke, but it was just totally out of sync with the rest of the movie.






No Guru, No Method, No Teacher.

Apparently, the rest of the movie wasn't torture enough I've been a fan of Gina Torres since Firefly, but that Autotune was just horrible I had to turn down the volume almost all the way to make sure the neighbors across the street didn't complain.

This was even more painful, since the ending or the original French film on which this is based, was so wonderful. In the French film the wife cries when he returns home wanting her, and we know she knew he was "cheating" even though it's never spoken. This dumbed down American version assumes we have to have it spelled out in singing words.

I absolutely hated that singing! But I think they were trying to make a joke based on those 1980's r&b songs where the singers had a conversation during the song, either before it or during the middle of it.
