Toby has always been my favorite character. I never even considered that people found him unlikable.
My teen daughter and kids her age call guys like Cabin 13 Guy "F Boys." Basically, it's another name for a "player." Cabin 13 Guy would be a fat F boy; so..an F F-Boy?

Agreed. She needs to report him for some kind of sexually threatening grievance.
I like Toby. He was a tool for not wanting to go along with the healthy lifestyle for her, but having a heart attack changes people. I think he's gonna turn out to be okay.
Toby makes me think of an old high school friend who is kinda like himhe's a BIG guy, super sweet with romantic gestures, a little stubborn sometimes. I like him and Kate together.

Absolutely, this. ^^^
People think Toby is too controlling/off-putting and I agree he comes on a little strong at times but at least he's likable and you can tell he really loves Kate.
This guy comes across as a narcissistic sociopath! He's over-the-top obnoxious and rude and she needs to stay away.

We may find out that Toby is not so likable although they did make him less obnoxious last night.

I've long been suspicious of Toby. He's hiding something. There's something about him that doesn't sit with me.
Cabin 13 Guy seems straight-forward, though we don't know much yet. I'm hoping he will be a 'good guy' and we will learn that Toby is in some ways 'a bad guy'.
Could be for a fun twist atleast.

There's something about him that doesn't sit with me.
Does he even have a job? He and Kate both seem to be OK just taking the entire month of January off.

He just had heart surgery. He is probably on medical leave. Or, I have no idea what he does, but he may be able to do it over computer.

Omg yes. Cabin 13 guy may be a serial killer for all we know. He sort of reminds me of some of the scary characters from Criminal Minds.

The writers probably intended for this to happen.
The writers obviously listen to the viewers and realize that Toby's not looking to good right now and wrote this episode to make him extremely likeable and to introduce a douchebag like Cabin 13, who so far, is just a dick as Kate called him.
The creepiness of him propositioning her to meet him in his cabin would send chills down anyone's spine.

I loved it. I thought it was hilarious the way he propositioned Kate just to see her reaction I'm sure. She's an uptight wench and he went right through it. I think they would make a great couple but I've not been known for the best choices in men. It'll be interesting to watch this play out. I'm glad they stuck a pin in Toby.

I thought Toby was adorable.
I don't know why but I like men who are goofy and geeky. sure he can be a bit of a jerk, but his heart's in the right place.
His moments with Kevin were great and if we can see more of Toby like that, it just might be enough to win the viewers over.
At the end of this season, Kate will have to choose between Toby and creepy-boy as to who she wants to marry.

I think you're right, that this episode may change viewer's impression of Toby, I liked the way he helped Kevin.
And even though he may be overwhelming at times the way I look at it, it's much better to have someone around who sees the humor in life instead of someone who is pessimistic or down about every little thing. So in that way, Toby is a breath of fresh air.

My take on this guy is more showing Kate that she is worth something. Most overweight people judge themselves by their ability to attract. Maybe having two guys interested will show her she is worth more than she thinks.

I just think her marrying Toby right out the gate is so forced. She needs to find her self-worth, not being attached to a man.
