Sherlock : So did I miss something
Re: So did I miss something
Yes, I'm guessing you did miss something, given that "Mary" explained it to John in the car.
Re: So did I miss something
They explained the therapist not how he knew he'd need Molly there at that exact time with an ambulance and there was something else that I can't remember that was 4 weeks ago that was mentioned at the end
Re: So did I miss something
Putting the bug in the cane, but it was all part of the same thing. He only needed to work out when to do everything, based on when John was seeing the therapist.
Re: So did I miss something
And how did he know he'd end up in hospital how did he know he'd bring the cane
Re: So did I miss something
he deduced he probably would have brought the cane
however he had other devices - i doubt he completely deduce that the cane was a guarantee. just a big possibility.

Re: So did I miss something
Because he'd planned it out. Possibly he'd planned many different ways to get the confession and this was the one that actually happened.
Re: So did I miss something
He made contingency plans. This was explained already.
Re: So did I miss something
yes - you dud miss explanations.
some seemed far fetched still- but everything sherlock can do is. its no superpower its serious intelligence - but normally quite a bit of planing as well (rather than just deductions in this example)

Re: So did I miss something
Nope. It's a superpower.
Sherlock infers things, instead of deducing them. In the reality of the show, he just always happens to be right.
May thy blade chip and shatter

Re: So did I miss something
no, he has many different ways to solve a case/get a confession - its never just one thing. its not a superpower - and he isnt allways right.
Re: So did I miss something
Now we get something like your shoe is dirty your wife is giving birth now.
Can't stop laughing at that
Re: So did I miss something
I think that did genuinely happen in empty hearse with a waiter with something like that
So did I miss something
Honestly the original episodes were good because his deductions seemed realistic enough. Of course there's some elements that aren't but when he explained them it was like oh yeah that's actually clever. Now we get something like your shoe is dirty your wife is giving birth now.
It's like their parodying sherlock with all this
