Beyond : What was with the random 80s movies reference girl?

Not sure what her purpose was other than to take out the bullet from Holden but they spent an unnecessary amount of time on her and didn't really fit with the tone of the show.

That bothered me too. I figured she would be a new main character or something but nope she will clearly never be heard from again. Not the greatest story tellers on this show.
