Moonlight : "Moonlight" - Which ACT Was Your Favorite?

Act I - When he is a little boy
Act II- When he is a teenager
Act III- When he is an adult

Personally Act II was my favorite, when we see him in his teen years. I loved the movie so much and Shyrone (not sure if I spelled it correctly) broke my heart. He was a good guy but so bullied in school and mistreated at home. Then when Kevin succumbed to peer pressure and kept punching him, you could see the hurt in him. It really broke my heart.

The entire movie was great but I liked that part the best. Act I was my second favorite and III my least simply cause the actor they cast as Kevin doesnt look like what Kevin should have looked like.

Act III was my favorite. The underlying tensions between them are so palpable it's mystifying.

Act II is my favorite as well, but I really loved all three of them. Similar to what you said, the utter devastation and heartbreak is what got me in that act.

Act II was superior. I was disappointed by the acting (first part) and the poor ending (third part) in the other parts.
