Legally Blonde: The Musical : A line I can't STAND.
Re: A line I can't STAND.
Ah, but it is redeemed a few seconds later with the masterpiece line:
"The Irish fear nothing and no one;
They keep fighting 'til everyone's dead!
I'm not sure where this metaphor's going"
Makes me laugh every single damned time! :D

Re: A line I can't STAND.
There isn't much in the show that gets a laugh. Most lines from the movie leave the blond audience dumbfounded. And if this is the only line that makes you cringe, congrats, you have the perfect low standards the producers of crappy shows like that are looking for.

Re: A line I can't STAND.
The show is okay but that wasn't the only corny line in the show. There are lots of them actually! I really hate that Bend and Snap song since it had the most lame lines out of all of the songs!
"I'd rather lose for what I am than win for what I ain't"
Kacey Musgraves "Pageant Material"

But there is one line that makes me cringe every time because is SO corny. When Paulette is singing "Ireland" and she says "And if you're Irish boy tires of you, you're allowed to shoot him in the knees!"
It's so so corny to me. After seeing a couple of bootlegs, I can also see it doesn't often get much of a laugh. Anyway, just thought I'd vent.
