The Social Network : Do they actually bus girls in to attend Frat parties?

I've never attended an Ivy league school & don't know anyone else who has either. So I was just wondering about that scene where they show all the young ladies being brought in, by van, for all those annoying frat guys. Kinda reminded me of that movie "The Skulls" where, if you're in an exclusive group, there seems to be an endless supply of ready & willing babes to pick & choose from & who are just offered up to these lucky ass dudes.

Does anyone know if they actually do that in real life? I have my doubts but i guess anything's possible.

I read once that top level women's universities like Sarah Lawrence, for instance, always seem to exist in proximity to similar rich predominately male schools. I doubt that is coincidence. Maybe they should factor in Ob/Gyn clinics half way between them as well.

I don't think luck has anything to do with it. Its part of the mating rituals of inherited wealth.

Ah, interesting. Yeah rich kids dating other rich kids makes alot of sense and is definitely "part of the mating rituals of inherited wealth". But I still say they're some lucky ass dudes. Haha. Unlike all us regular joes who had to scour Match.com or hang out at Starbucks or the bar in search of that special someone. Anyway, thx for your reply.

It's not a coincendence. Lot of top schools yrs ago weren't scoially compatable places for women anyway.
