It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia : Worst show on television

It just makes me sick. They all look like they need a good shower, each episode has something extremely unhygienic going on, the early seasons were highly offensive against people of color, people with cancer and disabled people etc.

All they do is shout and argue. That's LITERALLY all they do. If you think I'm wrong, then please do me the favour of explaining what you've watched since 2005. Nothing but pointless shouting and arguing

You want us to list all the shows we've watched for 12 years? Well I can tell you one show I haven't been watching. The Big Bang Theory. I don't think someone who thinks that's a good show should be trash talking shows that are actually good and don't need a laugh track or studio audience to tell everyone what's funny.

TBBT is funnier than Its always sunny. How can I laugh at a group continuously arguing since 2005. There's only moments of good comedy, usually involving Charlie. The rest is a bunch of crap

Actually, the only time I've ever laughed at that show was when I saw those clips with the laugh track removed. Of course I wasn't really laughing at the show itself, it was just so awkward it was funny.

Exactly. I love nerd/geek humor when done right but Big Bang Theory is just a bunch of references thrown out with little to no attempts at humor, just a laugh track to tell people that when generic nerd stereotype #2 says "Super Nintendo" that's meant to be funny and I should be laughing.

If you want to watch nerd humor done right, Silicon Valley is one of the best.

Not that TBBT is a great show or anything, but they threw the laugh track on simple nerd observations more in the early seasons, especially the first one. At this point, they don't nearly as often play the nerd angle for laughs, and the jokes are much more like those of any other traditional four-camera sitcom.

Seriously speaking, I'm a person of color and I've rarely felt personally offended. I watch the show with the mindset that these are people that are so clouded by their selfish, self-deluded idiocy, that they often fail to grasp how little they understand anything.

And that makes it all the more hilarious.

Clearly the show doesn't appeal to your taste, and that can't be changed. It's interesting that you chose to go out of your way and rant about it on the message board, though. I used to watch BBT and it's one of the most annoying, unfunny, and undeserving of all its praise shows out there. So I purposely don't go to that board to tell them what a piece of *beep* their favorite show is.

I choose to spend time on the boards of shows I like, along with people who also enjoy them.

It's just never made sense to me, to purposely go out of your way like that.

Listen, for this show to have lasted as long as it has and still be able to put out some very funny, even classic, episodes is testament to the fact that it's absolutely nowhere near being the worst show on television. In fact it more than likely makes it one of the strongest and most enduring comedy series throughout the history of television. Comedy is probably the single most difficult thing to be able to keep fresh, interesting and invigorating for a viewing audience, but this show has clearly managed to do just that for almost 12 seasons now. And I think it definitely deserves some praise for that.
