Most people tend to forget that certain Native American tribes (i.e. Choctaw Nation, Cherokee, etc.) actually own black slaves due to the bad influence the Europeans had on them and caused them to have a destructive consciousness that almost tore the tribes apart. However, unlike the Europeans, once the Native Americans freed their slaves, they would adopt them into their tribe, let them married their tribe member and have kids with them.

Yeah that would be interesting. I believe the actor Don Cheadle found out one of his ancestors was a slave owned by a Native American tribe and I also believe they stayed in the tribe after the Civil War. It was on one of those "who were your ancestors" kind of shows.

I wouldn't like it to focus specifically on only the slavery but I wouldn't mind a series that explored the entire history of the natives with them including that. It would be interesting to learn more about them, especially since there were also dark-skinned and copper-toned natives here before Europeans came. I'm curious about what happened.

The movie production houses are owned by whites. They can make any story they wish about any other group being slave owners. They can also make stories about their ancestors being slaves but they choose not to. Perhaps you should write to them

No. It is true. Those people were slaves and they were very untrustworthy and ungrateful. Amongst other things.

Interesting. Yea that would be a good movie and/or miniseries. I doubt it would happen though. We don't get that many dramatic presentations about Native Americans anymore as it is. (Yes I know we just had the Revenant)

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.

That would be interesting as a documentary. I'd watch it.
