Resident Evil: The Final Chapter : What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

When Alice is thrown on the ground and looks at the sky. You see something, like a UFO, in the sky that she clearly sees. Then you get a creepy Silent Hill vibe and the sirens go off.

After three times of seeing it, I can't make it out. Is it Wesker watching her with a drone? Cause after that scene you see Wesker watching her, but I thought that was from the siren post?

Hmmm!

Your brain probably.

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

i was wondering what that was in the sky too. i was thinking maybe it's what the Red Queen used to track Alice down (to contact her) but that doesn't make sense since Alice wouldn't be able to see a satellite (or a satellite wouldn't be hovering that close to where we could see themor am i wrong on this? LOL).

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

I assumed it was a satellite (or maybe a drone as you say) and that's how the Red Queen found her, and knew to turn on the air raid siren. The sudden, abrupt noise and then how quickly it cuts out catches Alice's attention, then the Red Queen turns on the fax/printer and leads Alice below into the bunker.

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

Good luck in anybody determining anything on the screen except Alice who's married to the director; so no surprise there.

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

It's the satellite used to track Alice in Resident Evil: Extinction. She malfunctioned it with her telekineses, but it didn't completely break it.

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

i admit i don't know the answer to this but would a satellite be easily seen so easily? i thought satellites are so high up (or whatever) that we can't see them. i know i probably sound really stupid for not knowing this stuff though. LOL.

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

A low Earth orbit (LEO) is an orbit around Earth with an altitude between 160 kilometers (99 mi) A low Earth orbit is simplest and cheapest for satellite placement. It provides high bandwidth and low communication time lag (latency)

But I don't that really matters either way, Jett. I mean. This is RE. The same universe where Alice had her ribcage crushed and her heart almost stopped but an IV later she was up and walking no problem. (Plus all the other ridiculous stuff.)

If they want us to see a satellite, we will see a satellite.

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

Surprisingly there is a large portion of manmade satellites that can be seen with the naked eye. On average they are visible for several minutes, although some can be present for longer. The important thing to note is that unlike a plane, most satellites do not blink or flash (unless they reflect the light of the Sun directly towards Earth, such as an Iridium flare).

Satellites are actually possible to see from Earth, so long as you are in a rural area with clear skies. It's very unlikely but possible. Alice could only see the satellite because the sun reflected on it, making it glimmer (as it did in the movie).

But this is also Resident Evil, where zombies and telekinesis exist, and this is in a universe where everything can be explained. I imagine Alice is able to see it better than others, or maybe she only saw it because the city she's in is no longer functioning, meaning there's less air pollution and clearer skies? No idea really, but there are a lot of possibilities. The Umbrella Corporation could have even deliberately placed it that low so they could get a better vantage point of Project Alice. It's not like anyone would have stopped them, it IS the end of the world, after all. Umbrella's world.

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

It was a drone.

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

It looks like a satellite to me, I think it was the Red Queen trying to get Alice's attention. It was chilling to hear the siren while Alice was alone in a desolate area.

Cheers!

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

luke it reminded me of the chilling/dread feeling the siren in SILENT HILL makes me feel!

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

Hell yes! At first, I was like, 'Is Alice going to fight against Pyramid Head now?'

Cheers!

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

first of all that wasnt popokarimu, its was a generic kipepeo. popokarimu has a giant.something under it that resembles a giant udder. kipepeos dont, they have the claw.

and it was a drone.

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

merco, first of all it wasn't a generic kipepeo. according to either Paul or Milla (i will try to find the interview) they say it's a hybrid creature.

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

according to paul, marcus created umbrella. and had a daughter. i wouldnt trust anything he says regarding RE.

andwhats the second thing you were supposed to say?

Re: What was in the sky? After the Popokarimu fight?

IT was a drone,i'm sure of it
