Gold : Matthew McConaughey!

What happened to Matthew McConaughey? He used to be so handsome! He always had these hard washboard abs! In this movie, he has this huge beer gut and love handles! Was it real or a prosthetic? Or did he do it on purpose like Charlize Teron in Monster?

I apologize that was a mean post. But, still there are certain expectations for certain actors. He was always considered a stud.

Maybe Matt realizes he can't play certain roles when he's built like Hercules. I don't have any information on how he prepared for the role, but I'm guessing he bulked up by eating a lot of fatty foods loaded with sugar while doing less cardio. Don't worry, though. He can burn that off in a month and be rock solid again once he goes back to his regular regimen.

He gained weight for the movie, obviously. Ever seen American Hustle? Christian Bale did the same thing.

Well he is not a model, he is an actor portraying a real person. So I assume he attempted to look more like the real person he portrayed. I am sure he can get fit again if he wants. But remember, even good looking guys get old.

He played as ugly character and he all did this for his role.
