Superstore : Line from "Ladies' Lunch"….
Re: Line from 'Ladies' Lunch'….
Dina was on fire last night! She made me laugh so many times. In fact, the entire cast was especially funny. I'm waiting to see what will come of Dina's revelation about Garrett. No one believed her, so now I want to hear them joke with Garrett about it to find out what he says.
The only person I didn't like last night was Amy. (And, that woman who was calling Amy's husband) Dina went out of her way to show empathy (Something that doesn't always come naturally to her) and try to cheer her up, but Amy couldn't get out of there fast enough. She was being such an unappreciative witch when she told all the ladies that they had nothing to talk about basically, saying that they shouldn't try being friends, because they have nothing in common. Yes, she stopped herself and got drunk to stay and make the best of it; but the damage had been done and I was still mad at her. She's always my least favorite character. I guess every show needs a straight man type like her to balance things out. I just feel that she could be more likable, at times. When the men were trying to "win" her, I thought that she didn't deserve any of that attention.
Also, POOR SANDRA! I hope the guy from the bar will come to the store soon.

Re: Line from 'Ladies' Lunch'….
I did feel for Sandra. She was on such a hot streak lately with the fake story about her and the gay manager. Then this comes back to bite her. Heartbreaking.
I am going to miss these boards.

The actress that plays Sandra wow. Great acting. You could feel her pain
Re: Line from 'Ladies' Lunch'….
Right? Sandra's always funny for a laugh but it's the first time she (or the show) has pulled some really unexpected emotion/pity from me.
Line from "Ladies' Lunch"….
Myrtle orders a drink.
Waiter says he's going to need to see some ID.
Dina then says:
Are you kidding? Look at her face. She's like 2000.
Poor Myrtle.
