The Magicians : I'm the 1%

that actually LOVES this show! The characters are all total douchebags, but that makes this all the more compelling for me! Because REAL LIFE is so full of total douchebags just like this, and part of me wants to see them all succeed, but part of me wants to watch them fail and get mauled. It is very enthralling. I hate when an episode actually ends, I'm always left wanting more.

I'm very much on the fence so far. My problem is that I just don't like any of the characters. There's no depth, no likability to any of them. That, and they introduced the school too fast. No buildup, no connecting to the characters. I really like the premise of the show, but so far it's just really poorly executed.

Also episode 4 is way too early to have a "trapped inside your own mind with nothing that makes the show the show" episode. I'm giving this a lot of benefit of doubt by continuing to watch this awkward mess, but I'm definitely not sticking around for season 2 if this doesn't pick up some pace really soon.

Same. The characters are absolutely amazing. Especially Margo and Elliot.

Love this series. Barely was turned onto it about two weeks ago and already caught up. It's so hard to find quality shows with the right amount of sass and humor thrown into it.
