John Wick: Chapter 2 : No one could shoot him in the head?

It's not easy to shoot a moving target. Just by chance a bullet would have landed on his head. Plus the chick who ambushed him from behind when the bounty first went out, she couldn't have just shot him in the head? He was about 10 feet away.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! So what if his suit is bullit proof, his head is fair game. I had to stop rolling my eyes at all the times he would have been killed in the real world. My only reason for giving it a 7 was the commitment in creating an entire world here. Loved the telephone operators whose uniforms were cut off shirts and they all had tattoos, even the older ladies.

..but this is not the real world lol.. this is a fantasy hit man action thriller.

- sure, in the real world, two people could shoot at him at the same time and kill him. but in john wick, everyone else is a horrible shot, like storm troopers lol..

but if you also notice, they did not have enough time to shoot him in the head, wick is quick! and always sees and hears them coming. When they were close to him, he would tackle them down, if they were at a far distance, he would dodge them.

..this is not supposed to be a realistic movie kids

Everyone is supposed to just automatically know his suit is bulletproof? It's a whole lot easier to shoot someone in the body as opposed to the head.

was thinking the same thing. especially considering john wick shoots everyone in the head so it must be an assassin's training thing.

but I just kicked back and rolled with it.

Yes I understand. That's why I said just by chance a bullet would hit the head. If you're aiming for the torso on a moving target just by chance your aim will be off and hitting areas off from the intended target.

Anyway, I get the required suspension of disbelief.

No because if they did then they couldn't set up yet another needless money grabbing sequel

This was planned to be a trilogy from the beginning.they didn't just decide to make a sequel because the first movie did well.

While of course it is unrealistic.they did show John covering his face with his suit multiple times.

There's something supernatural about John Wick. The Russians don't call him the Baba Yaga for nothing. Perhaps we will see this explored in the third chapter.

That would have been a very *beep* film if John wick got killed right at the start .
Just my opinion though.

The fact the lead is the only good shot is nothing new in action movies. Is this the first time the OP has noticed this?

But he isn't.he gets shot multiple times. You just have to suspend the belief of how amazing his bulletproof suit is.

Well, the same holds true for the first movie. And he wasn't even wearing a bulletproof suit in that one.

Anyway, youtube's "Everything Wrong with John Wick" pretty much asks the same question.

You could clearly see John using his jacket as a shield to protect his head multiple times throughout this movie.

You could say this same thing with most action movies.

For example in Indiana Jones. Why do they need to chase him? They could simply stop their trucks and shoot him.

It's a movie.

What is he supposed to do? Wear a helmet to hide his face? If he did that you'd be squawking that he doesn't do his own stunts!

And John McClane never would have made it through the first Die Hard, in real life.

Yeah I wonder how Jason Bourne survived 4 movies without being dead too eh? It's a movie folks, an action movie at that.

You must not realise who John Wick is. He once killed 3 men in a bar with a pen.
