John Wick: Chapter 2 : Yeah, I'm thinking this was terrible

Congratulations, you can write B-movie scripts and get them made into blockbuster films now. Whoever made this movie should be ashamed of themselves. I can find high schoolers that can write better scripts.

It's kind of disturbing movie critics gave this a positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes too. They've gotta be openly taking payoffs now. The director just has run out of ideas.

I disagree.. I thought it was absolutely engrossing. I loved the first and I loved how they expanded on the assassin universe. I can't wait for the third. What exactly didn't you like about it? The film was beautiful in terms of action and storytelling.

The Continental basically helps him to navigate the catacombs. They could have gotten any scrub to do this. Dantonio decides to hire God, then is massively surprised when it's hard to tie up the "loose end." What an idiot!

Just because it was engrossing doesn't mean the story was good. I enjoy the action, but there is almost zero substance to these movies. The only bit that starts to get interesting is the whole coin/hotel/marker stuff.

Really?! LMAO!! Try watching Raid 1 and 2 Either one destroys JW 1 and 2 and it's not even Close!! A smaller budget to boot. A better story, well actually JW has NO Story so Raid wins by default! Better character development. A variety of action thats not like watching your good friend Beat high score on any FPS game for the hundredth time. JW2 was like watching a FPS screensaver on infinite loop lol.

Not to mention that they most likely ripped off the basic storyline/concept from RAID 2 , seeing how Keanu worked with Iko Uwais in " Man of Tai chi " in 2013.

The Raid 1 did not have better plot. I love the Raid and The Raid 2 two of my favourite films, but there plot are *beep* and so is John Wick. But I love John Wick, haven't seen the second yet.

But don't say Raid 2 stole the plot, when Raid 2 is pretty much any Asian gangster film plot, with a little bit of Infernal Affairs throw in and other undercover gangster films. The think that makes the Raid films great is not the plot. It's the action scene. And it's the same with John Wick.

All of these films should be awarded for showing clear shot and edited action scenes, without using shaky cam, thight close up and fast editing.

I hate when people attack John Wick with using the Raid.

Love both John Wick and The Raid. Both great films. So much better than anything else made in America. So far the best actionfilm is from Hong Kong, and it's great to see shoot em films that can rival the Killer and Hard Boiled, pretty much the two best shoot em up films.

People should love Hong Kong action film, The Raid, the John Wicks and all the awesome stuff Isaac Florentine does with Scott Adakins and John Hyams does on video. All great stuff.

You should definitely get on that then. The John Wick movies are some insane combination of spaghetti westerns and Hong Kong (or Korean) action. They're flamboyant, stylish, and manage to put the majority of big budget American action movies to shame at a fraction of the budget and twice the imaginative mayhem. We could do with more.

Anyone who enjoys the John Wick movies is recommended to watch some spaghetti westerns (the Sartana series in particular I think), Hong Kong action (John Woo's or Johnnie To's cop and gangster movies would make for a great start), or what's going on the last few years in Korean action movies, of which The Man From Nowhere is a prime example.

For the 3rd time (yes, I am repeating myself for the 3rd time in hopes you finally understand.) I DON'T CARE that you hate the movie, I truly do not. You have every right to do so. The only problem I have is that you've chosen to stay here on these boards and repeat that hate over and over repeatedly. I wrote those 4 paragraphs in hopes that maybe just something in there would resonate with you and you could explain to me your reasons for being here. I was hoping that maybe you could shed some light on why you have decided to do this. But I now know that is far beyond your limitations as a troll.
