Stitchers : Renewal for Season 3

I had never heard of Stitchers until summer of 2016. I watched 2 seasons in 2 weeks, its a great show! They need to do more advertising. I REALLY hope it gets a 3rd season, but it seems like there isn't a lot of hope. The main characters Kirsten and Cameron have a really good balance of chemistry/humor. I do wish they would speed up the Kirsten/Father storyline.

Does anyone know if there is a cancel or renew by date?

Season 1 averaged .33; Season 2 averaged .15 Emma Ishta just had a baby so im guessing everyone is waiting for her decision lol

It's not her but the network. If they wanted it renewed they would have done it in the middle or end of the season but I'm guessing they are waiting to see how the new shows do right now one of them is averaging better but the other one is doing better but we'll see what that means. Plus it did jump 50% lower in ratings which also doesn't look good for it either but that's the network's fault for putting in on at 10pm and not really promoting it.

It's only a recurring role, so nothing to worry about there.

I hope not but it does mean they aren't going to start filming any time soon since there is no word of a renewal and it makes me wonder if the actors were told to move on to other things for the time being, which happens at times.

Not sure when they both film but the fact that they aren't on during the same time of year bodes well. Could be her "Off season" work, I hope.

Now days with these short seasons for cable shows and alternate networks that have weird season schedules, actors can be in 2 or 3 series at the same time. Plus as someone else said her character in Vamp Diaries is a recurring character. Not a full obligation. Like last year or the year before when CCH Pounder was in Sons of Anarchy while finishing Warehouse 13 and starting up her gig with NCIS: NO

I just discovered this show on Hulu and binged watched it. Has there been any news on when Season 3 will air?
