BritComs : British Takeshi's Castle type show

British Takeshi's Castle type show

I'm looking for identification of a show that I watched as a small child in the 1980's. From what I remember is that the show was similar to the popular Takeshi's Castle show in Japan.

I remember people dressing up in horse costumes, vegetables, and even the Royal family, namely the Queen. They were racing or doing some other sort of timed competition. I think it was a British show, but it could have been an Australian one too. Any information would help.

Just one question...do you happen to know how to fly this thing?

Re: British Takeshi's Castle type show

Over here in North America it was known as MXC or Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. Comedians dubbed their voices through the show with hilarious results

Because she has a great ass! and you've got your head all the way up it!

Re: British Takeshi's Castle type show

Geez, Gman316 you could have made that post a little clearer.

I know that you mean that Takeshi's Castle was known as MXC in North America but other people will think that It's A Knock Out was known as MXC.
