Re: Brigitte Bardot sure had
This picture is probably late 60s, not 50s.
Re: Brigitte Bardot sure had
I admit to having used her photos for "nefarious" purposes - she had a spread in Playboy at age 40 that was most impressive.

Re: Brigitte Bardot sure had
Ouais. Mylène Demongeot, a compatriot (this one born in Nice, instead of Paris), another Sun in Libra, exactly one year and one day younger, as well:

Mylène Demongeot
Quite a looker, that one. She was quite memorable as Elsa, in the 1958 David Niven-Jean Seberg-Deborah Kerr film, Bonjour Tristesse.
Don't mess with me, man! I know karate, judo, ju-jitsu..... and several other Japanese words.
Re: Mylène Demongeot sure had
Quite, I agree. In a totally different context, only a year later she was Andromeda, no less. No Strain, just Andromeda...

And still a year later, in 1960, she was Zizi (not Sissi, just Zizi...)

I watched that second link, the shorter film clip, and am glad I did!

Folco Lulli ("Paco") looking at Mylène's legs and bottom (translated from Italian): "there it is, that''s the flag for which it's worth to fight". Yeah...But John Ericsson ("Krüger"), the German naval officer who was a tad Nazi seemed to have a dichotomy concerning flags worth fighting for...
Yes, yes, yes, your Claudia is great, including the phallic symbol... ;-)

Re: Brigitte Bardot sure had
I watched Clouzot's La verite the other day; it did nothing for me. Bardot shaking her cute little tush all over the set, so dull. Francoise Arnoul on the other hand...
Re: Brigitte Bardot sure had
I agree with the LA Times:
The Los Angeles Times called the film "an amazing picture, a tour de force from all concerned. It is at once immoral, amoral and strangely moral.
Re: Brigitte Bardot sure had
Beautiful. Underrated actress as well!
