Babies : favorite baby ???

hands down has to be Ponijao from Namibia. i don't know what was the cutest, her trying to lick the dog or her walking around trying to balance the can on her head. just absolutely freakin' adorable. i want a whole movie just about HER.

I agree. I enjoyed watching the Namibian and Mongolian babies.

I wanted to squeeze the Mongolian baby's cheeks. Also him and his brother fighting all the time was hilarious.

I loved Ponijao and Bayar, they were just so adorable to watch. I would love to see more of them. And I thought Bayar was funny with his brother too.

I agree about Ponijao, but they all had their moments. Mari's temper tantrum when she couldn't get the toys to cooperate was priceless, as was Hattie eating a banana.

Bayar. He's so mischievous with the toilet paper roll, fighting with his brother, and that goat drinking from his bath water and him not being bothered by it was precious.

I definitely liked Ponijao the best. She almost seemed like a genius baby, but that's probably because she was developing so fast from the constant attention and stimulation from the women of the village. The other babies seemed dumb in comparison. She also has so much character, and a wonderful knowing grin.

Bayar's brother! ;)

They were all adorable, but I found myself looking forward to the Ponijao and Bayar scenes the most!

Bayar was the best! After seeing this movie, I feel like having a baby.

I enjoyed Bayar. I think he was the most entertaining. It seems to be that Mari-Chan and Hattie didn't have a lot of screen time.

Bayer was like the comic relief of the movie. He and his brother had hilarious moments. Mari became funnier as she got older.

I thought the same thing myself about the screen time. At first I thought it was intentional, but when I read the parental interviews Mari's mom mentions that she was sleeping a lot when they were trying to film her. Maybe Hattie ran into the same problem.

I can't decide between the Namibian and the Mongolian baby. I think I'm inclined towards Bayar (Bayer? sorry forgot the name) He was so instinctive, wide-eyed and curious learning everything that was going on around him and throwing himself head first (sometimes too literally!) to investigate things for himself. I think he'll grow up to be quite independent, and will learn to figure out things on his own. I especially loved the look in his little face when the goat drank water from his bath, as if saying "Ma! there's a goat in my bath!" LOL! Now, that doesn't happen every day does it?

I liked Bayar the best. I loved the jealousy between he and his big brother.
