The End of the Tour : Jesse Eisenberg Was Miscast

Jesse Eisenberg Was Miscast

I never found him very believable in his role as a journalist. He's more of the nerdy computer type.

Re: Jesse Eisenberg Was Miscast

He was not organic is his role of a journalist. It seemed to me that he got thrown into this role. On the other hand, Jason Segel did an amazing job in his role of David Wallace.

Agree ~

And for what is essentially a 2-person drama, it's really too bad that one half of that team was sub-par ~

yep

Re: Jesse Eisenberg Was Miscast

Just think what would happened if Hunter S "Duke" Thompson had been sent there to do the interview gonzo style.

As it was, Rolling Stone was reluctantly persuaded to spare the reporter from interviewing now forgotten boy bands.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

Re: Jesse Eisenberg Was Miscast

Hunter S Thompson would have been way too much for him. However, it would have made for a great interview and movie.
