The Middle : Please end this show

It started out really entertaining, but there has been no character development. Sure they went on to college and things like that but they were still playing their child selves. They dress Sue like she is still in Junior High and her lines are childish. I keep forgetting Axl is out of high school because he is still very juvenile. Is Brick supposed to be mentally ill or do they think it is cute? Then there is Frankie. There is no other place for the character to go than a full nervous breakdown and time spent in a home.

This is hilarious, but oh, so true. All the kids are basically the same as in the first episode. Brick has become even more insane that he was when they started. He'll eventually kill everyone in the household, and then write a suicide note in the best font possible and blow up the house.

Seriously! And will axl ever get a freakin haircut?! His hair is ghastly!

Well i have bad news for you as you are already too late ABC has renewed it for a 9th season, but it will end its run sooner or later and I only think it has a couple of season left in the tank, if not best maybe 1 or 2 but no more then that.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. The show is still funny and the characters are still great! I really appreciate their fun and the humor, which lightens up my week!

It was horrible.

I'm still enjoying this season and felt it has been solid for the most part. I especially loved the three post-Thanksgiving episodes, and also "True Grit" which I only saw in it's entirety when aired again a few weeks ago. The ones starting in January were mostly good but maybe not quite as much as those earlier ones. One way in which I think we have seen some change in Axl and Sue is in the closer bond they've been showing.

Last night's episode beat Seinfeldbecause it was about NOTHING. There have been several episodes this season that are just filler and could be dropped into any season since Sue's in college without ruining continuity. Last night's was one of them.

Truth is, The Middle has run out of steam. Right now, they're just coasting until Axl's big graduation day, which will end the season.

And it looks like the "love of Axl's life" has fallen to the Middle's curse. She's completely and utterly disappeared.
