I am a fan of TV crossovers. It connects different shows and puts them into same universe

ABC might renew the Middle but they might wait until the end of the season, but in total I would think it would be interesting to see what shows you will have right or wrong about whether it will return for another season or not. One show for sure you will be right on is the Simpsons as it has been on since forever and i don't see it ever coming to an end, anytime soon.

Dr. Ken will be renewed, and so will This is Us. They're not "50/50 chances," at this stage of the game.

I don't find Dr Ken or Last Man Standing funny but This Is Us is definitely being renewed, without a doubt.

Reality check: it doesn't matter if YOU don't find Dr. Ken or Last Man Standing "funny." The ratings are healthy, and Last Man Standing is the #1 rated show for Friday night on broadcast television. Of COURSE, it'll be renewed. As for Dr. Ken, it's doing better in that timeslot than any other show ABC had put there, so it's a lock, too.

You sure are taking this pretty serious, as if you are personally involved with both shows. Chill the fuq out.

What are you talking about? "They aren't doing that great." You'd better check the cancellation bear ratings for Last Man Standing, again. They have four bears: "likely to be renewed for 2017." It's got one of the best ratings on there for ABC, and Last Man Standing is NOT "on the cancellation bubble," as you put it. Granted, Dr. Ken isn't doing as well, but it's doing better than anything else previously in that time period.

How to Get Away with Murder and Fresh Off the Boat are pretty much sure things to get renewed. Speechless is getting very good ratings, so I don't get the 50/50 at all. It will be renewed. I do not think Quantico will survive. Their ratings has taken a nosedive. I would give it a 1% chance of surviving.

CBS
Both Kevin Can Wait and Life in Pieces are both getting good ratings. They will be renewed. You can bet your mortgage on those two. Man with a Plan is also in very good shape. It should get renewed. Great Indoors has very good ratings as well. It will get renewed.

FOX
Lucifer is in great shape. It will be renewed. Pitch is a goner. Brooklyn Nine-Nine has this deal with TBS for at least another season, so it is safe unless something really bad happens. Next season is the time to watch out for that one. Son of Zorn and Star are in good shape. They will be renewed. Last Man on Earth should make it as well.

I have no doubt This is Us will be renewed. Although, the few times I checked, I think Bull, the new show on CBS, was beating it in the ratings. So, Bull should be a lock for renewal.

I gave up on Gotham a few episodes in this year and gave my time to Timeless instead, so I'm rooting for that one to get renewed. I can't wait to see where they go with it.

In total viewers, Bull does beat This is Us. But in the 18-49 demo that advertisers love, This is Us crushes Bull. They are both locks to make it back. Here's an article for the OP on This is Us.

I'd be somewhat surprised if New Girl got renewed. It's quality has taken a nosedive and its getting really long in the tooth, going into its 7th season if renewed. I thought the last 2 seasons would be the final one honestly. If renewed i expect s7 to be its last, I think even most of the fanbase is hoping for it to end before it becomes unrecognizable.

These shows are terrible with abysmal ratings.

80% of them should be cancelled!

**More mini-series and less 13 episode orders. Less is more. If ratings are good send it to pilot.

There are 100's of pilots ordered contractually, why not try them out sporadically (Mini-series, pilots)?

Ignore the awards and restructure a fragmented target key demo 18-49 demographic.

Reach out into rural America. The most horrendous candidate EVER is about to become President and some of us voted for him.

Why not seek out those long ignored viewers?

As for "The Middle"

Patty is one of the highest paid stars on TelevisionI could see her taking a pay cut for a 9th season. I know I would pushing 60.

8 Season is great, but 9 is better. And 10 is rare. And 11 becomes an exclusive club.

Looks like you are fan of cable not primary network. For me, I like main networks more than cable networks. In cable you get 10-13 episodes per season with 3 months of airing. And rest of 9 months you have to wait to see next season.

I prefer 20-24 episodes per season with 9 months of airing. And then only 3 months to wait next season.

I agree with everyone who says that there is no way This is Us is sitting at 50/50. It is doing excellent in the ratings and is still receiving great reviews. It's getting renewed.

I just read they gave This is Us a 2 year renewal.

50/50 chances was my prediction and I admit I was wrong.

Those are a lot of shows you watch. So I guess you were winging it on these predictions because if you looked at the This is US ratings, I don't know how you could have come up with the 50/50 prediction. It also looks you are a Dick Wolf fan.

If superstore gets cancelled my life is cancelled lol that show is absolutely brilliant. Not only that but ratings wise it's doing quite well for a comedy.

I think it is safe. It is a fun show. I root for it even more because a guy who I went to elementary and middle school with produces and writes for the show. He was a funny guy back then even.
