There's some ambiguity to that with the reboot series. Either Casino Royale takes place 2 years ahead of its release and links to Quantum of Solace, or Quantum really happened 2 years prior in 2006, because they're meant to be directly linked. Then with Skyfall and SPECTRE it's the same deal, either Skyfall happens in 2015 with SPECTRE following up, or SPECTRE happened 3 years prior.

I assume the same could happen with SPECTRE and Bond 25.

I made this way too complicated because even now I've confused myself.
