Star Wars: The Force Awakens : Does Rey's scene w/ Leia feel much more poignant now...

Does Rey's scene w/ Leia feel much more poignant now...

in light of Carrie Fisher's recent passing? When Leia says to Rey "May the force be with you!" it's sort of like (and I know that this is kind of corny) a passing of the torch moment. Leia/Carrie Fisher was the top female/leading lady of the Star Wars franchise since the beginning and now it was Rey/Daisy Ridley's turn to carry the mantle.

Maybe....we'll see....

It'll seem much more poignant when/if we find out Rey is Leia's daughter.

No.
And enough with the whole "passing of the torch" BS. None of the new characters actually deserve their torch.
