Spectre : Why do people like Blofeld so much?

Sure he's 'iconic'. But he's a rather bland character with little backstory. And when they tried to give him one, they failed miserably You really can't do much with such a character tbh

Well, I really like Waltz and both my boyfriend and I just LOVE his (German) voice, the voice alone makes him cool no matter the role.

But we both thought Waltz was kinda wasted in this role Blofeld was indeed a bland and boring character, they tried so hard to make him look cool that it felt ridiculous.

I also didn't like how forced Blofed's connection with Bond felt, it just wasn't necessary, I'd have preferred if they had just made him a regular bad guy.

Im not fond of Blofeld I think he's cheesy but I liked Waltz's Blofeld.

That Dr. Evil looking Blofeld from the Sean Connery films is cheesy.

It's the dynamic between him and Bond that's so effective.

The ultimate brain vs the ultimate brawn.
