Inside Out : Overwhelmingly depressing

I guess watching this as an adult is different, but jeez, this movie made me want to climb into bed and weep.

I didn't make it 30 minutes. Everything about this film is obnoxious.

You'd probably need lifelong therapy if you ever saw any of Don Bluth's 80s films.

Secret of Nihm is exactly the kind of film kids need today

What did you find so depressing about it? Personally I found it quite uplifting.

I think it's one of Pixar best movies here lately, it's a lesson learn. That life can't always be joyful 24/7/365 days of the year. Real LIFE happens people!!!! And sometimes we forget that, until something happens. I received this last year for a birthday present after my Mom passed away. So when I'm feeling bad I pull out my Pixar movies and they make me feel better. Strange but true!!! Toy Story Rocks as well. I know that I am strange.

Totally agreed. I guess people want movies that are all JOY

As my Mother used to say if you live long enough life is not always going to be able to bring you joy. Heart ache and sorrow are,a put of growing up and older.It's called "LIFE EXPERIENCES"

I'm glad I'm not the only one who though that.

Took me three tries to get through it. Not only is it depressing, but it's exhausting. Enough with the orbs already.

This movie made me feel like I was dying inside. It was an hour and a half of oppressive, and progressively intensifying gloom, and I did not like it one bit.

What diversity used to mean: Diversity
What diversity now means: Fewer white people

So, I'm confused on 2 different levels here you didn't like the movie because it made you feel depressed or the movie itself was depressing itself?

Yes agreed a depressing film , not really entertaining either ,went twice , 8kids in all , not one enjoyed it ! Aimed at adult's I think , one of the few Pixar movie's I'll avoid watching again.

It made me laugh, it made me cry. I didn't feel depressed or uplifted afterwards. I just had greater respect for our brains and how complex they are.
