Inside Out : Overwhelmingly depressing
Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
I didn't make it 30 minutes. Everything about this film is obnoxious.
Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
You'd probably need lifelong therapy if you ever saw any of Don Bluth's 80s films.

Secret of Nihm is exactly the kind of film kids need today
Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
What did you find so depressing about it? Personally I found it quite uplifting.
Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
I think it's one of Pixar best movies here lately, it's a lesson learn. That life can't always be joyful 24/7/365 days of the year. Real LIFE happens people!!!! And sometimes we forget that, until something happens. I received this last year for a birthday present after my Mom passed away. So when I'm feeling bad I pull out my Pixar movies and they make me feel better. Strange but true!!! Toy Story Rocks as well. I know that I am strange.
Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
Totally agreed. I guess people want movies that are all JOY
Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
As my Mother used to say if you live long enough life is not always going to be able to bring you joy. Heart ache and sorrow are,a put of growing up and older. It's called "LIFE EXPERIENCES"
Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
I'm glad I'm not the only one who though that.
Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
Took me three tries to get through it. Not only is it depressing, but it's exhausting. Enough with the orbs already.

Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
This movie made me feel like I was dying inside. It was an hour and a half of oppressive, and progressively intensifying gloom, and I did not like it one bit.

Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
So, I'm confused on 2 different levels here you didn't like the movie because it made you feel depressed or the movie itself was depressing itself?
Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
Bless it
Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
Same
Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
Yes agreed a depressing film , not really entertaining either ,went twice , 8kids in all , not one enjoyed it ! Aimed at adult's I think , one of the few Pixar movie's I'll avoid watching again.
Re: Overwhelmingly depressing
It made me laugh, it made me cry. I didn't feel depressed or uplifted afterwards. I just had greater respect for our brains and how complex they are.
