Fleabag : Second series?
Re: Second series?
don't think so. it's more like a complete project. it's based on play (monodrama?) and I guess everything was written with the idea of just 6 episodes. I would say "sadly" but maybe it's soo good just like it is?
Re: Second series?
Yes, it is a complete story. However, I think there is more potential for further stories for those characters and it is doing very well in the iPlayer chart so I think the BBC would like more episodes. We'll just have to wait and see
Re: Second series?
I know the temptation is to have more of something you've enjoyed, but I thought this was a perfect six episode stretch. If they make a second series I'll be watching it, but it isn't "necessary".
Re: Second series?
nothing gets resolved so a second season would be nice.
Re: Second series?
i think things get resolved satisfactorily for the end of season one. FB has revealed her greatest fear and that she actually is human and self aware, Things are likely to improve for her from where we are at the moment.
Not everything is resolved for full closure but I don't think it needs a second series.

Re: Second series?
Everything is indeed resolved. Watch all six

What? Everything gets resolved.
Re: Second series?
Amazon is involved now, so they're gonna milk it for sure. Look at Ripper Street.

Re: Second series?
I would like to see more of her character, it is great
Re: Second series?
I hope it moves forward, I would watch 60 more episodes, loved the way it plays, so dam cool!
Re: Second series?
It seems if it does do well there will be another season. I just read an interview Vogue did with Phoebe Waller-Bridge and she said even though the series was a complete adaption of her play, she is eager to find the next story for Fleabag and see what happens to her next.
I'm really happy about that. I thought this first season was great and can't wait to see more of the characters and story.

Re: Second series?
I hope so. There's no reason why Phoebe Waller-Bridge can't create new ideas and stories for the characters.

Re: Second series?
The word on the street is that the BBC will be making an announcement about a second series of Fleabag soon. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is reported to be "currently exploring ideas" with them.

Re: Second series?
There certainly is plenty of material to cover for a second season.
I'd like to know more about mom and dad's characters and how they impacted the two daughters.
And why they turned out so differently.
