This Is Us : Love the chemistry between Kevin and Sophie

I like what I'm seeing with them so far. I want to know more about them and how they got together and how Kevin ruined it.

They got together in the fourth grade.

They liked each other since 4th grade and he cheated on her. They said it LOL.

I dont like that all of Kevins storylines involve women his character won't make it past season 2 if thats the case.

What I mean is I want the details. For example, was she the one they caught sneaking out of the basement with Kevin when they were in high school. Who is the woman she caught him cheating on her with. Things like that.

I'm much more interested in them and their past than I am Kate and Toby and Jerk in Room 13.

I'm going to bet that kevin married WAY too young. At keast, too young for kevin. They are divorced at 24. Kevin is a handsome charismatic athletic young man. In the early 20s, that's a very unrealistic task to ask a young man at his sexual peak to be monogamous. Plus, he's not the most mature person in the room. And that's at 36. I'm sure he had some 'frat boy' persona in him. I'm sure he lived sophie, but if you're not ready, you're not ready.

I'm speaking from a male perspective, so I don't mean to be sexist. I know females, especially young and attractive as sophie in her early 20s, are hit on every 15 seconds of her waking public existence. But females mature faster than males, so one can speculate sophie was ready for monogamy before kevin.

Introducing Sophie as a third love interest into the mix is a baffling misstep to me.

I liked Kevin and Sloane together. Why'd they even give her and Kevin more than one episodes worth of 'romance' if nothing was to come of it?

We don't know yet if "nothing" more happens with Kevin and Sloane. So many twists and turns in this show, it's hard to make predictions yet. Who knowsthere may be a threesome with Kevin, Sloane, and Sophiehalf-kidding!
