Riverdale : Betty's character will be highly annoying (spoilers!)

If she hasn't been annoying already. Looks like she would be hooking up with Jughead. Just search twitter or google for that I'm too lazy to search for links.

So, she would be paired to Archie & Jughead (getting herself in between 2 friends while hating Veronica for it).

Sorry, if the writers are trying to convince we should root for her, then they are clearly doing a poor job. Not to mention her annoying fit to Archie last episode as if she is entitled for him to love her back.

What the hell does she owe Archie? He says he isn't into her so she's free to be with whoever. Bashing Betty but Archie is the one with a bunch of women. Sexist and hypocritical much.

And she wasn't acting entitled to Archie. It was hard to be near him cause he broke her heart. But damn the girl apparently can't be hurt.

Cole Sprouse talks as if his character is asexual, joking of course.

But that tends to say Jughead has no hookup.

I'm maybe in the minority, but I think this Jughead's kind of cute and would love it if Betty and him hooked up haha.

I didn't see any indication of that happening though. I know they've flirted in the comics in the past but showwise i've read nothing. I know they are supposed to bring big Ethel in.

Betty and Jughead kiss in episode 8, so they are seemingly trying to establish some kind of relationship between them.

You're not in the minority. Cole Sprouse and Jughead have tons more girls crushing on them than any other Riverdale actor or character.

And they've never really flirted in the comics, except in fan-edited panels.

Yeah it could be the fan edited things i've heard about.

That sucks! I kind of want Jughead to crush on Veronica rather than Betty. I think it's because show!Jughead is super cute and Veronica' gorgeous and Betty's well just plain boring and annoying.

I'm sure it will be a just a 2-3 episode thing just to create conflict between Archie/Jug. The only girl I can see matching with Jughead right now is this version of Veronica.(never though of them as a couple in comics) Both of them seems to be more matured and the voice of reason in this show.

Oh cool that you also think Jughead and Veronica has potential. I mean yeah the concept of "the nerd and the hot girl in high school" is clich but J/V will never happen in a million years in the comics, so with show!Jughead and show!Veronica looking like that and being complete opposites of each other except (and I agree with you) that they seem to be the only mature, level-headed teens on the show, I really like the idea of them together. I hope the show explores this.
